Bowling Social
Are you new on campus or do you want to get more involved with OCAC?
We put on this social event for students to meet the OCAC executive and other accounting students. It is a low pressure, FUN event!
In November 2015 OCAC hosted its 3rd Bowling Social, which was a great event for all students that attended! This is held at McCurdy Bowl and is now an annual event that students look forward to as a break from their busy school schedule!

CVITP stands for Community Volunteer Income Tax Program.
Okanagan College Accounting Club realizes that as future professionals, students need to have both professional skills, and a sense of social responsibility.
In cooperation with the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA), OCAC provides students with the opportunity to use the knowledge learned in tax class to complete free tax returns for low income taxpayers who live in our local community.
Students involved with OCAC have volunteered for the CVITP program for 4 years now and we are proud to announce that we have helped over 450 taxpayers and families within our community.

Networking can be fun, stress free and not require the purchase of a suit and tie!
The purpose of the OCAC Annual Meet & Greet is to establish a casual and entertaining environment for Okanagan College students and accounting professionals to get to know each other.
The event is scheduled at the start of the public practice accounting busy season and is a nice break for many accountants.
We ask our guests and students to leave their suits in the closet, put their work down, and enjoy a night without bank reconciliations or new IFRS regulations!
This annual event is held in the OC Pit and has been a great sucess over the past two years! To add some fun to the evening, attendees are encouraged to play some ping pong pairing up with fellow students and local accountants.
